20 January 2025 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Kia ora e ngā whānau, I hope you have all made the most of the summer, taking time to reconnect with your friends and whānau. I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new students and whānau. I am excited about you joining us and look forward to your involvement and contributions to our kura. Over the course of your time at HPSS we will help you navigate the journey of high school, support you with finding your passions, celebrate your successes and growth, and connect you to your pathway beyond school. To all our students, I am delighted to welcome you back to HPSS and trust that you have made the most of the summer break to recharge and prepare for the new school year. The continued growth of our school brings with it new opportunities. I challenge all our new and returning students to make the most of the opportunities on offer at HPSS in 2025 to extend yourself, form new friendships and grow. The first two weeks of the school calendar year are a vital time of the year to form connections between our staff, students and whānau and create a sense of belonging for all our students. The events listed below play an important role in fostering these connections and set the foundation for a successful year. Please check the dates below carefully to ensure a successful start to the year.
