Hobsonville Point Secondary School has a number of facilities that we hire to the community including a state of the art multipurpose auditorium and gymnasium. The gym is equipped for Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, and Badminton. We also have two full sized Football/Rugby fields and one Cricket Pitch. In addition, HPSS has five outdoor multipurpose courts which cater for Tennis, Netball, and Basketball.
The auditorium has a huge digital screen with surround sound that is magical. Quite comfortably it seats 350 people and can hold a large conference and /or workshop for up to 276 people seated at tables big enough to provide space for a laptop and note pad.
The large learning spaces are designed with big open spaces and each learning space can hold up to 80-100 people quite comfortably seated at tables. We have 11 learning spaces. Each comes with mobile digital monitors, TVs and whiteboards.
The Kai cafe is a great open space closest to the reception area for mingling with a mix decor of high tables and low tables and coloured high and low chairs. The automated sliding doors open onto an outside sheltered area where you can enjoy the sun and shade. Our onsite caterer Sumiko provides scrumptuous menus big or small at very reasonable prices.
