A Message from our Board Chair

It is my honour to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Hobsonville Point Schools. Being involved with such forward thinking people who really want the best for our tamariki is a really wonderful experience. Having sat on the board for the last four years, I’ve watched the schools grow from strength to strength, our children are achieving some great successes and really making their mark both here in New Zealand and around the world.

Our purpose as a Board is primary focused on student success and developing strategic models to support the governance of the schools. Our Board has some great experience amongst the members, many warm and demanding conversations are had ensuring we keep moving forward.

A bit about me: I live in West Harbour, Grace is at the High School and Jake is in his final year at the Primary School. I am the Head Educator for the Discovery Foundation who run life and academic skill workshops for children and teens, I also contract as a trainer to various government departments running communication skill workshops. I love being on stage in front of an audience, and when I’m not doing that, you’ll find me playing some kind of sport. Currently looking forward to the ski season starting and hitting the slopes as much as possible.

Ngā mihi nui
