Our vision at Hobsonville Point Secondary School is that we empower learners to achieve both academic and personal excellence. Students are confident, connected, and actively involved, and we encourage them to become lifelong learners. We empower students to live successfully and contribute responsibly to their communities.

Students learn in state-of-the-art facilities using tools and technologies that support and enhance their learning. We prepare learners to solve problems, self-manage, think critically, and innovate. Our learners are given the opportunity to participate in citizenship & service-led project-based learning. We prepare young people for their life beyond school as we value deep learning, challenge, and inquiry alongside developing values, dispositions, and capabilities as part of our curriculum.

Students are offered a wide range of learning opportunities including sporting, arts, and entrepreneurial activities. Our learners are offered a range of internships enabling them to spend time learning in the path they see a future including civil engineering, architecture, automotive and early childhood. Students go on to succeed in many different pathways, and at the highest levels academically; including one of our recent alumni who is studying architecture at  Cambridge University after gaining an outstanding scholarship in DVC. At Hobsonville Point Secondary we offer opportunities for everyone to reach their full potential.

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced, and they all believe that every child can learn, achieve and contribute strongly to their community. Our mission is to inspire, engage and innovate. Our students at Hobsonville Point Secondary School are immersed in an environment where they are accepted, cared for, and challenged, enabling every student to thrive. At our school, learners are part of a community where they belong, create lifelong friendships, and are given opportunities to develop their interpersonal skills, via our Hobsonville Habits.
