Library
The library at HPSS is a dynamic, flexible and popular space in our school. Students from all passion areas use the space for anything from gaming to reading.
Operating as a high-trust environment, students can issue their own books on the self check-out machine, and are free to come and go from the space whenever they choose.
Our collection consists of topical high-interest fiction and non-fiction texts for all reading levels, a dedicated ESOL collection, graphic novels, magazines, study guides, board games, teaching resources, and even DVDs!
The Library also has it's own Apple TV, portable devices for student use (Chrome Books and I-Pad minis), two gaming consoles and five desktop computers.
Our library website is being constantly updated with reviews, notices, research links, and resources for our school community and is available from https://sites.google.com/a/hobsonvillepoint.school.nz/library-online/. Students can access both our Oliver web catalogue and Wheelers eBook Lending platform from this site.
